Anine graduated with a Bachelors of Consumer Science from the University of Pretoria in 2010. After graduation she went into the television industry where she worked in the wardrobe department of local soap, “Generations”. After that, she worked on another soap, “Binnelanders”.

During her time in the television industry she completed multiple courses in beauty and special effects make-up.

After a few years in the television industry she decided to explore the world of film. She worked on multiple local films and also dabbled in the commercial industry.

In 2016 she decided to share her knowledge acquired in the industry with students at AFDA, where she headed the discipline of Costume, Make-Up and Styling.

She is currently working as head of beauty and SFX make-up on a horror series that will air later in 2020.
