In 2015 Amalia worked on three feature films that released in 2016. She played the lead and classic femme fatale in Karoo Films’ film noir “DoubleEcho” and a supporting role in Scramble Production’s multi award-winning and thought-provoking “Sink” under direction of Brett Michael Innes.
In September 2016 the off beat romantic comedy “Sy Klink Soos Lente” hit theatres. This was Amalia’s first female lead in an Afrikaans film. She played opposite a dynamic, fresh and star-studded cast.
Amalia also enjoys working behind the scenes. In 2015 she was head costume designer and wardrobe mistress for the post-apocalyptic movie “Last Broken Darkness” and in 2016 she was one of the producers as well as production manager for the action thriller “Jagveld”, written by acclaimed writer Deon Meyer.
In 2016 Amalia relocated to Cape Town, South Africa. When it comes to her career, Amalia likes to think that variety is the spice of life. The freelance lifestyle does not support dull moments and Amalia likes to keep busy doing international commercials during season, acting in theatre (“Die Vrou uit die See”, 2017; “Betroudag”, 2019), in film (“Vat ’n Kans” and “Die Skandaal”, 2019) and for television (“Spoorloos”, 2018).
Amalia started exploring her love for presenting in the most recent season of the SABC production “Pasella”. Later this year she will be seen in another exciting reality series hitting screens for the first time in South Africa.
Amalia is also an experienced MC and loves giving motivational talks at corporate and educational facilities.
Amalia’s motto in life is to believe that everything is possible with hardwork, perseverance and vision. She is a lover of nature and all living things, never giving up on peace, love and being grateful for this human experience.

Thea is a joyful soul and childhood friends with Hugo and Dieter. She radiates inner peace accentuated by her natural beauty. Thea is a down to earth, farm girl. She is part of Konettie but travels and works on cruise ships.
